It is learned that, around the “Double Eleven” shopping festival this year, Yunji announced to build a member value-oriented membership e-commerce model for opening up a new era of  e-commerce 4.0 featuring “social recommendation + high-standard supply chain”. Founded in 2015 and regarded as a representative of new-style e-commerce businesses, Yunji has been growing at a fast and strong pace and delivered a 160% year-on-year increase in sales during the “Double Eleven” period.

Other companies along with Yunji on the winner list of “China Rising Star 2018” include Missfresh, SF UAS, Hellobike, Coffee Box, Yitiao, and 10dian, etc. The “China Rising Star” award program, initiated by Deloitte, is aimed to discover startups with leading position and huge growth potential in various market segments. As a sister program of “China Technology Fast 50”, the two are held together.

The “China Technology Fast 50” award program is one of Deloitte’s set of award programs to honor global top fastest-growing companies. According to Deloitte’s report, e-commerce is one of the five sectors with the highest percentage of “China Rising Star” winners this year. E-commerce platforms are integrating with offline physical retail formats in diversified consumption scenarios. The synergy between a variety of emerging technologies and the whole supply chain will produce more smart business forms in the future. According to Deloitte’s estimate, in 2017, China’s online shopping market transactions amounted to RMB6.1 trillion, and is expected to reach RMB10.8 trillion by 2020.

Zhang Tiecheng said that, winning the award of “China Rising Star 2018” is not only a great encouragement for Yunji, but also recognition of its development model and commercial value. The over-three-year-old Yunji has become an important participant and innovator in the e-commerce industry and the new retail field. Next, Yunji will continue to give full play to its platform advantages and spare no efforts to build itself a membership e-commerce platform for users to buy “carefully selected global quality goods at wholesale price” based on the trend of big brands and the cost performance of featured products.
